Where do I start?
There are number of ways you can start you journey and here are some quick suggestions:
1. Pray. Always remember and make sure that God is at the centre of your journey.
2. Start to get a basic understanding of music and music notes in general (e.g. learning the keys on a piano). If you can arrange or afford music lessons (whether paid, unpaid, online, etc.), that will help speed up your progress.
3. Listen to any chants that you can follow with music notes to start to understand how the music notes relate to each other.
4. Practice as often as you can (whether in the car or at home). If you have anyone that can guide you or give you tips, that always helps (e.g. when you sing flat or off pitch)
5. Record yourself singing to see how it sounds, compared to when you play the chant…
